Voice Jam - a virtual singing collaborative

In times of crisis, it’s music to the rescue! We won't lose our passion and faith in singing, and of course, our joy of connecting with people and sharing cultures! Therefore, we have created this virtual platform of “Voice Jam” to form a virtual-multicultural choir. Please follow the instructions below and send us a video of your singing. We will create a virtual performance together.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. CHOOSE one of the two phrases of our song "Listen to my Voice" (sound track#1_soprano melody) and (sound track#2_bass melody) composed by Michiel De Malsche. You can learn the phrase through reading the music score (PDF download here/photo above) and/or listening to the audio files. For the version of both voices combined: (sound track#3_combined soprano and bass)

2. PRACTICE it many times. Pay attention to the rhythmic and the melodic patterns.
3. For ACCOMPANIMENT, you can listen to sound tracks (#1, #2 or #3) via headphones/earphones. Please keep the same tempo as the sound tracks!!
4. You can also listen to (sound track#4_metronome) to keep a steady tempo.

5. RECORD a video of your performance with your cell phone when you feel ready :) Below are two video examples made by our professional soprano singer - Lili Wu, and amateur bass singer - Kenisman.
